The Java API for XML Registries (JAXR) provides a uniform and standard Java API for accessing different kinds of XML Registries.

The release of JAXR 1.0 that you have downloaded as part of the Java Web Services Developer Pack (Java WSDP) includes the following:

• The JAXR 1.0 Early Access Reference Implementation (RI)

• API documentation

• Sample programs, including a Registry Browser
